Two Years Minimum Admissions Requirement

A candidate for being eligible for admission to the Master of Fine Arts degree course (by research) in the branches of (1) Painting, (2) Applied Arts and (3) History of Arts must be a teacher in the constituent / affiliated colleges of this University imparting instruction in Applied Arts/Painting and must have passed - The B.F.A, degree in painting of this University or the Government Diploma in Drawing and Painting of the Government of Maharashtra or an examination of any other body recognised as equivalent thereto for being eligible for admission to the M.F.A. degree by research in the branch of Painting. The B.F.A. degree in Applied Arts of this University or the Government Diploma in Applied Arts of the Government of Maharashtra or an examination of any other body recognised as equivalent thereto for being eligible for admission to the M.F.A. degree by research in the branch of Applied Arts. OR The B.F.A. degree either in the branch of Painting or in the branch of Applied Arts of this University-or the Government Diploma in Painting or Applied Arts of the Government of Maharashtra or an examination of any other body recognised as equivalent thereto, for being eligible for admission to the M.F.A.- degree by research in the branch of History of Arts. And must have thereafter obtained five years experience of teaching to the classes leading to the B.F.A. degree in this University or the government Diploma in Art.
